When you defer work, promise a follow-up ("I'll also…", "later we should…", "worth revisiting"), hit something out of scope, have a question only the owner can answer but don't need to block on it, or want the owner to see a note that must survive your context window — park it on the daemon's agenda instead of losing it. Also use at session start to check what's parked and whether earlier questions got answered.
