For A Mother

To begin to tell you how special you are would be a bother,

Because everybody knows you are like no other.

I could try and try to explain,

But I know all my efforts would be in vain.

For you I would cross the world in a heartbeat,

Because with you in my mind I know I can overcome any feat.

I know your life has been a struggle,

But you are the only one who could do it with a giggle.

Having faith is probably the only thing you could do,

But just remember, that we are all here to do anything for you.

If you ever have a doubt or a question,

Don’t hesitate to ask because I know we’ll come up with a solution.

When you think things are sour, just remember you are a special flower, and for you I would destroy any tower.

All I want to say is that keep on smiling, because deep down everybody knows things will start shining.

Dear Arish,

Since the day you were born there has always been one thing I cherish,

And that is the fact the you will grow to flourish.

As your mama, know that no one will be able to hurt ya,

Because even though far away I will always be there to support ya.

Be happy that you have your kind of mother and father as a parent,

Because everybody knows it's thanks to them that we are in the present.

So remember my nephew, my dear angel, who just like the other few, as much as I hate I will always sing a jingle.

Even though you may only be a few years old,

You are more precious than a world filled with gold.

You're eyes shine like little stars in the sky,

Added with your charisma, you're more special than the 4th of July.

As you uncle, forever will you have my support,

Don't forget I will always be there even as your last resort.

Be thankful to your mother and father,

Because thanks to them, a lot of people have gone much further.

So to my favorite niece, I write to you this little piece, thank you for putting everything at ease.
