cdb-scan

Map this codebase into project memory — a code graph of every symbol and how they connect, plus a written profile of stack, layout, conventions and workflows. Re-run any time to refresh both in place. Use when memory is newly installed on an existing project, or when the project has changed enough that the stored map is stale.

cdb-scan is a Claude Code skill that maps a codebase into project memory in two passes: a code graph of symbols and their connections, plus a written profile covering stack, layout, conventions, workflows and architecture. It stores the results as five stable memory notes and can be re-run to refresh them in place.

Use it when a fresh agent install knows nothing about an existing project, or when the stored map has gone stale after changes.

Use it to

  • Onboard an agent to an existing codebase
  • Refresh a stale project memory map
  • Record stack and workflow commands from manifests
  • Capture conventions inferred from the code
  • Document architecture a newcomer couldn't infer
