An agent skill that rewrites technical questions to the user in plain words, always ending with one marked recommendation. Structural choices pass a six-check screen (effort now, simpler substitute, extra work later, lock-in, over-engineering, easy to undo), with doing nothing always weighed as a candidate.

It filters which questions reach the user and forces a concrete recommendation instead of an open-ended option dump.

Use it to

  • Rewrite a technical question in plain words before asking
  • Screen a structural choice through the six checks
  • Offer two to four options with one-line trade-offs
  • Answer whether something is worth doing or replaceable
  • Weigh doing nothing against a proposed change
